President's Message
Welcome to the Solano County (CA) Chapter of the Links, Incorporated website. The Links, Incorporated founded in 1946 is one of the nation's oldest and largest volunteer service organizations of extraordinary women who are committed to enriching, sustaining and ensuring the culture, and economic survival of African Americans and other person of African ancestry. The membership consist of nearly 15,000 professional women of color in 28 chapter located in 41 states, the District of Columbia, the Commonwhealth of the Bahamas and the United Kingdom.
The Solano County Chapter of the Links, Incorporated was founded on January 29, 1994 by a group of 24 dynamic women.
The organization is built on the tenants of Service and Friendship and collectively contributes more than 1 million house of community service annually. Our initiatives are aligned with five (5) facets of the national organization which are: Services to Youth The Arts, National Trends & Services, International Trends & Services and Health & Human Services.
